Speaking Up for What Matters

Sharing Ideas that Inspire
I participated in several public speaking competitions and received awards for speeches about how small actions can protect the environment. These experiences taught me the power of communication — how one voice can spark awareness and inspire change.

Presenting My Invention at UCLA
During a summer invention camp at UCLA, I introduced my project exploring the universe through a device I designed to simulate planetary motion. Sharing my idea with peers and mentors helped me gain confidence in explaining complex concepts and showed me how creativity and science can work together to inspire curiosity about the world around us.

Serving at the World Expo

I was invited by the Hong Kong government to volunteer at the World Expo. I explained product features to visitors and helped with translations. Working with people from different countries showed me the power of clear communication and inspired me to create solutions that make a real-world impact.

Contributions were officially recognized with certificate.

Giving Back to the Community
I volunteered 60+ hours for the Orange County Food Bank. I worked on the assembly lines and packed boxes of food for the low-income people and seniors. During this year's National Family Volunteering Day, we packed 20,000 boxes of food. I felt more connected to the community by taking action to actually help others.

I volunteered with a program that supports Salvadoran children by expanding access to equitable education and strengthening their socio-emotional development. As part of the fundraising efforts, I helped sell donated clothing to raise money for learning materials and community activities.
